4-H Youth Development

4-H LogoDid you know 4-H could be in your neighborhood? 4-H is a program for young people, ages 5 to 18, who want to have fun, meet new friends, and learn great skills! In urban Broward County, the program offers hands-on education and fun projects in many different ares, including marine science, photography, horticulture, food and nutrition, small animals, horses, computers, and much more!

The program also offers great opportunities to participate in public speaking programs, 4-H Congress, Legislature Week, and summer camp. These projects and experiences help members learn how to make decisions, develop life skills, and actively participate in the home and community. For parents, 4-H is a family activity that provides leadership and self-esteem training, which helps young people mature into successful and fulfilled adults.
