Sustainablity is a developing area for research and education in the University’s College of Life Sciences and Agriculture. The Organic Dairy is a model of a fully-integrated program that combines animal, nutritional, and agronomic sciences with economics and ecology in a single working farm.
Located at UNH, the Organic Dairy will impact the ability to sustain the health and integrity of family farms, rural communities and citizens in New England as part of a larger, global initiative toward Sustainability.
