George H. Lauff,

Dr.
Lauff received his BS in Zoology from MSU (Michigan State College at the
time) and his PhD from Cornell University. His past associations
include the University of Michigan, the University of Georgia, and the
Sapelo Island Research Foundation.
He
returned to MSU in 1964 (as resident director) to lead the development of
KBS into a national and internationally recognized center for ecological
research. Dr. Lauff retired in 1989.
In
1990, The
George H. Lauff Scholarship fund for students was established. In
2004, Dr. Lauff donated his home to MSU. The proceeds from the sale of
the property went directly to the scholarship fund.
Dr.
Lauff makes his home in Kalamazoo. |
