Soybean Production in Arkansas

From the farm to the market, soybeans have found their way into a variety of foods. Examples include soy milk used in infant formulas, Oriental tofu (soybean curd), soy yogurt, soyburgers, soy loaf, and soy sausage. Soybean oil is the most widely used edible oil in the United States, making it difficult to find foods that do not have some soybean product as an ingredient.

Funding

The University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service receives funding for some of its programs by grower check-off dollars that are distributed by the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board and the United Soybean Board.
