Katchkie Farm is located in the Hudson Valley on 60 acres of rolling land.  A first in the catering industry, Katchkie Farm is the realization by Liz Neumark, founder and CEO of NYC's Great Performances catering and planning firm, to establish a year round organic farming operation that supplies the company's catered events and cafes with fresh produce within 24 to 48 hours of harvest. It is also the source of Katchkie Farm brand artisanal products. As a unique resource to GP, the farm is the genesis for the company's precedent-setting 100 Mile Menu for which all principal ingredients are sourced within a 100-mile radius of the New York City Metropolitan area.

Great Performances is known industry wide for passion and devotion to the arts, creative culinary design and providing outstanding service for more than 26 years. We pride ourselves in attentiveness to details, responsiveness to our clients, and customized menus ranging from the delicate to the robust. We hold exclusive catering and café management contracts at several of New York’s finest cultural and artistic institutions including Brooklyn Academy of Music, Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, Sotheby’s, Wave Hill and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Greenmarket, the largest and most successful open-air farmers markets program in the country connects local farmers with city residents by delivering fresh healthy produce to all five boroughs. Greenmarkets 44 market locations allow New Yorkers to purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, and other locally produced products straight from regional farmers. By directly connecting farmers and producers to New Yorkers, Greenmarket supports family farms, preserves farm land, delivers fresh healthy produce to those who need it most, and reduces the environmental effects that result from food traveling across the country or world. Greenmarket has set the standard for farmers markets for 30 years, and continues to grow and serve new communities.

The plants and trees grown here at St Lawrence Nurseries are managed by organic methods. Because we are committed to preserving the health of the air, water, and soil, we use no herbicides, fungicides or pesticides. Instead of artificial fertilizers, we rely on mulch, manure, and cover crops to boost soil and plant health. Rather than using tractors, we hand-plant, hand-weed and hand-dig all of our stock. Trees grow more slowly in cold locations with short growing seasons. Our trees are grown in a northern climate (Zone 3).  We do not "push'' our trees with artificial fertilizers, but use natural methods to encourage an optimum growth rate. The result is a smaller, but "tougher'' tree with a more balanced proportion of root to top, which will establish itself well and harden off properly before winter.

Tuthilltown Spirits in Gardiner, New York is the first distillery producing hand made vodkas and whiskey in the State since the repeal of Prohibition. Our spirits are made from New York agricultural products. Unlike most vodkas, at Tuthilltown we distill our spirits from scratch right at the distillery making use of the local original materials such as whole fresh apples, New York corn and local wine grapes. We never use industrially produced neutral alcohol in our products. Taste them and you'll see for yourself. Our apple vodkas are truly the HEART and SPIRIT OF THE HUDSON. And our whiskey leaves no doubt it's origin.
