Elochoman Slough, Washington

AUTHORIZED BY: Rivers and Harbor Act of 26 Aug 1937. Section 107 Project in 1960. Section 310 Project in 1965.

Project Description:

Project is from the Columbia River near the easterly end of the slough to the terminals near the mouth of the Elochoman River.

Channel:
Channel is 1.5 miles long, 100 feet wide, and 10 feet deep.
There is a turning basin which is 10 feet deep.
Entrance channel to a small boat basin is 50 feet wide and 6 feet deep.  It is maintained by local interest.
Breakwater is 12 feet high and 10 feet wide at the top along the southern and western sides of the boat basin.
