Historical Films
When your
parents and grandparents were in school, teachers often used films to
assist them inteaching their students about Alaska and oil and gas.
By today's standards, these films may seem a bit corny, but they are
fun to watch. Some things have changed a great deal in 50
years and its amazing how others have not changed at all.
Watch these films and try to imagine yourself as a student in the late
50's. The movies are in Microsoft's WMV format and can be played
on both Mac and Windows PC's using the
Microsoft Media Player. Choose Low for slow internet, medium
for cable/dsl and high for direct/ lan connection. |
