About the AQP

The Air Quality Partnership (AQP) is a coalition of businesses, organizations, government agencies, and individuals who are concerned about the air quality in the Greater Philadelphia region and the health of the region’s citizens.

Joining the AQP is easy and free. People and organizations who sign up for free air quality advisories through the EnviroFlash system automatically become participants in the AQP. Members of the region’s Transportation Management Associations (TMAs) are also AQP partners. The best part is that you determine your level of participation.

There are many levels of participation in the AQP. At the most basic level, organizations can spread the word and let their employees know when air pollution levels are forecast to be unhealthy, or even enroll all their employees in the EnviroFlash Alert system. You can receive air quality forecasts everyday, or just when air pollution is expected to be unhealthy.

More active partners can work with the AQP and their local TMA to explore ways in which your organization can reduce air pollution through participation in the Mobility Alternatives Program or through energy conservation programs. The AQP staff is here to help you find a level of participation that is right for your organization, and we will work with you to provide outreach materials for your program.

Of course, individuals are also welcome to contact the AQP for tips to reduce air pollution and protect their health from air pollution.
