DEFENDING OUR GREAT OUTDOORS
It's always wildfire season somewhere in the United States and dedicated men and women endure exhausting work, harsh living conditions, and long separations from friends and family to protect you and our nation's natural resources from the ravages of unwanted wildfire. The work of wildland firefighters benefits us all, yet most of us know very little about them – who they are and what they do.
