Water-level conditions in southern Florida
All data presented on this site are considered to be PROVISIONAL DATA and subject to revision pending further review.
Below is a north-to-south listing of the end-of-month daily water levels reported in the Surficial Aquifer System as of September 30, 2008. For surface-water monitoring stations, the daily reported value is the daily mean stage (water level). For ground-water monitoring stations, the daily reported value is the maximum water level recorded for the day. An end-of-month summary of periodically measured data is also available.
For most locations, the minimum and maximum water levels reported on this page are the minimum and maximum for the USGS-collected data stored in NWIS. The period of record for these basic statistics is limited to the past 25 years of published continuous-collection data and may not include the current calendar year or the past calender year until the data are reviewed for quality assurance. Older records, records that are available only on non-electronic media, periodic measurements, and data published by other agencies are not included in this estimation.
