CITE is pleased to offer the following on-line courses, available continually throughout the year:
Note: Course fees for individual courses allow students to access
the course materials for 60 days. Any additional time required to
complete the course will result in additional fees of $30 per 30 days of access.
BLENDED COURSE MENU
A blended course has a specific time schedule in which to complete the course and includes conference calls with instructor, web-based learning, and interaction with other students via discussion board
The Full Semester Program of Study is available Fall and Spring :
CITE has bundled 11 - 12 of its individual courses to develop two full semester programs of study. They are offered in fall and spring just like a college/university course. Our semester programs are very cost effective but also very challenging due to their pace. Price is $950 per program.
Certificate Programs
CITE has bundled its courses by topic area to provide students with three different certificate programs: ITS Project Management, ITS Systems and Traffic Engineering & Operations. Students need to complete six courses within one year. The cost is significantly less than taking each course individually. Price is $625 per certificate.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT The courses for this program focus on defining the requirements and specifications, conceptualization, basic design and engineering involved with implementation phases and installation of ITS into transportation technology. |

SYSTEMS The courses for this program focus on the development and deployment of computer and communications technologies to solving transportation problems; identify the causes of transportation fatalities and delays to determine where ITS systems, products and services can contribute towards safety and mobility improvements |

CEU - Continuing Education Units
Upon satisfactory completion of a course and its evaluation, students
will be awarded certificates and the appropriate Continuing Education
Units (CEUs) from the University of Maryland.
Students need to receive a 70% or better on the final exam for
their course and complete the course evaluation form in order to
qualify for their CEU's.
