This series had three components: audio, video, and a workbook. The video was approximately 45 minutes in length and covered several areas including; business dress, introductions, phone conversations, social business events such as parties, lunches and dinners, and thank you notes. The video discussed common misconceptions of business etiquette and illustrated both the correct and incorrect procedure for each topic.
In addition, a brief review was included at the end of each section. The audio tape was identical to the audio in the video and could possible be used to reinforce the concepts. Also the workbook follows the same sequence of the video, and includes exercises and questionnaires for the participant.
Although some of the topics may not apply, the series was helpful and is recommended to NWS employees. |
