What is GIS? |
GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is a
collection of computer hardware, software, and geographic data
for capturing, managing, analyzing, and displaying geographically referenced information. |
|
|
It takes numbers and words from the
rows and columns in databases and spreadsheets and puts them on a
map. |

data was collected during ground surveys using mapping
software. This portion of the 123 mile track went through the
Clinton (Van Buren County) area. |
