Missouri
The mission of Missouri Assistive Technology is to increase access to assistive technology for Missourians with all types of disabilities, of all ages.
Provides low-interest loans to eligible persons with disabilities in Missouri to purchase assistive technology, including wheelchairs, electric scooters, hearing aids, computers and other equipment and to modify homes or vehicles.
Provides limited funding for assistive technology, vehicle access modifications and some home access modifications for children under age 21 in Minnesota.
Assistive Technology (AT) Special Education Reimbursement Program
Designed to assist school districts in Missouri in covering the costs of assuring students have the assistive technology they need.
Telecommunications Access Program
Provides access to basic voice telephone calling (both sending and receiving) for individuals with all types of disabilities through the delivery of adaptive telephone equipment.
DBTAC - Great Plains ADA Center
Provides information, materials and technical assistance to individuals and entities that are covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Serves Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska regions.
A non-residential Center for Independent Living in Missouri. Programs include home modification, assistive technology loan programs, scholarships, support groups and advocacy.
