Texas Health Care Information Council
THCIC's primary purpose is to provide data that will enable Texas consumers
and health plan purchasers to make informed health care decisions. The
Council's charge is to collect data and report on the quality performance
of health maintenance organizations operating in Texas and hospitals.
The goal is to provide information that will enable consumers to have
an impact on the cost and quality of health care in Texas.

The Texas Business Group on Health is the recognized voice of business
regarding employer-sponsored health care in Texas. TBGH is dedicated to
the development and support of community-based business health care coalitions
and employers across the state.
