What is Title V Maternal & Child Health Fee-for-Service?
Title V MCH FFS provides prenatal care, preventive and primary
child care, case management for children from birth to one year and high
risk pregnant women, as well as dental care for children and adolescents.
Community health is improved when the physical and emotional needs of
women and children are addressed.
This website will help direct you to Title V MCH FFS providers and available
services in Texas.
Announcements
Recent Additions: Center for Disease Control and
Prevention's HPV website
There are two recent additions to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention's
HPV website (www.cdc.gov/std/hpv):
1. A recently updated HPV Vaccine fact sheet for health care providers
is available at: www.cdc.gov/std/HPV/STDFact-HPV-vaccine-hcp.htm.
Please distribute this information widely to providers and colleagues
in the field.
2. An interim Vaccine Information Statement (VIS) for HPV vaccine is now
posted on CDC's HPV website or
or directly at www.cdc.gov/nip/publications/VIS/vis-hpv.pdf
. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommendations
are currently under CDC review. Once approved by CDC, the ACIP recommendations
will be published in Morbidity and Mortality Weekly (MMWR) and a final
edition of the Vaccine Information Statement will be published.
