In 2007, the First Court of Appeals will be closed on the following days to observe legal holidays pursuant to Tex. Gov't Code Ann. §§ 662.003, .004, .021, .022 (Vernon 2004):

In 2007, the "late–filing" box will not be available: (1) on days when the Court is closed for legal holidays as listed above; (2) on Harris County holidays when the Court is otherwise open (Friday, April 6, 2007); and (3) on Wednesday, November 21, 2007 and Friday, December 31, 2007. The Court cannot guarantee that the "late–filing" box will be otherwise available because the Harris County constables who provide access to the box may be called away on other business.
