DEFINITIONS

Potential SIBs case
Any claim that has received at least one IIBs payment and has an impairment rating of 15 percent or more on the lastest rating received. Back to Potential SIBs case link
Received SIBs
Any potential SIBs case that has received at least one SIBs payment Back to Received SIBs link
IIBs completed case
Any potential SIBs case whose claim has matured to at least one month beyond the end of IIBs payments and has not received any SIBs. The "IIBs completed" date is equal to date of maximum medical improvement plus three weeks for each percent of impairment. "IIBs completed" cases are divided by the length of time elapsed since the timed out date.
IIBs completed plus one month cases
Claims that were at least one month but no more than 13 months past the end of IIBs Back to IIBs completed plus one month cases link
IIBs completed plus 13 months cases
Claims that were at least 13 months beyond the end of IIBs Back to IIBs completed plus 13 months cases link
Still receiving IIBs case
A potential SIBs case that has not reached the end of the IIBs period and therefore has not yet received any SIBs Back to Still receiving IIBs case link
