• Prior to sending in an application for an individual license you must first pass all required tests. The tests are administered by Thomson Prometric. Submit your original score report with your application.
• Licensing and Test Information: This link takes you to Thomson Prometric's web site. This company is contracted to administer the SFMO tests. Click on the Fire Works Candidate Bulletin found on this page for information regarding different types of licenses, which tests are required and study references.
• Locate a Test Site: This link takes you to Thomson Prometric's web site. Tests are administered at 20 different locations throughout Texas, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Test Scheduling: This link takes you to Thomson Prometric's web site. Select the type of test, date, time, location and payment method and receive instant confirmation.
