March 3, 17, 31, 2007 — Kickapoo Cavern SP — Morning Bird Walks — Staff will conduct a nature walk and program throughout the park in search of migrating birds and endangered species like the black-capped vireo. 8:30-10:30 a.m.; fees $4 Texas State Parks Pass members, $7 non-members, $6 senior citizens with Parklands Pass, $4 children 12 and under; reservations required (830) 563-2342. March 3, 17, 31, 2007 — Kickapoo Cavern SP — Wild Cave Tour — This rugged two-hour adventure hikes across fields of loose boulders into the heart of the great Kickapoo Cavern. The primitive tour passes the 80-foot tall twin columns, the largest known formation in Texas. Participants should be in good physical condition, must bring two light sources per person and wear sturdy footwear for hiking. Liability release required. 1:30-4 p.m.; fees $7 Texas State Parks Pass members, $10 non-members, $7 children 12 and under; reservations required (830) 563-2342.
