Honors College

The Honors Program is open to undergraduate students of any major and once accepted we will provide specialized programming for you as part of the program.  Some of the benefits of membership in the Honors College include specially designed Honors classes, training in research methods and skills, opportunities to present research at undergraduate conferences, eligibility to live in Honors Hall or Rawlins Hall, free tickets and invitations to special and cultural events, special library privileges, priority registration and assistance in applying for major scholarships. Learning Center

For information about the tutoring we provide, see the section on tutoring. In addition to tutoring, we provide multiple academic support services for both undergraduate and graduate students.

Academic Coaching – We will work with you to develop a personalized plan for achieving academic success.
Graduate Resources – We offer a variety of workshops and services to support graduate students and students interested in graduate school.
Academic Workshops – We provide free workshops on topics such as Critical Thinking Skills, Online Course Success Strategies, Time Management, Test Taking, Note Taking, Learning Styles, and Presentation Skills.
Speed Reading – We provide a speed reading course for $30 that is aimed at increasing your reading speed so that you can read more in less time.

Office of Disability Access

Student Support Services – UNT TRiO Programs

We offer tutoring in various subject areas, personal and academic counseling, study-skills instruction and career planning for students who qualify for this federally funded program. Study Abroad

We provide information on study and travel abroad opportunities for U.S. students. We can also help with providing information for scholarships for study abroad.
