General Resevation Information
UNT Departments (Campus)
Facility reservations may be made in person in room 103 of the Pohl Recreation Center (Rec Sports Main Office) or emailed to Ryan Comfort (Ryan.Comfort@unt.edu). The facility request form is available on-line here.
Note: Requests must be submitted at least 1 week in advance. Reservations will not be made for Intramural teams.
UNT Student Organizations (Students)
All student organizations must complete a campus event planner through their organization's OrgSync account by visiting the Student Organizations website at www.studentaffairs.unt.edu/student-organizations.
Note: Requests should be made a minimum of 15 business days in advance. Reservations will not be made for Intramural teams.
Non-university Groups (Off-campus)
Non-university affiliated groups who wish to reserve space must call 940-565-2656 to make the reservation. Reservations remain tentative pending receipt of deposit or receipt of a University account number.

Additional Information
Special Rental Conditions
Leisure Pool
- Leisure pool cost if group uses pool during open swim: $30/hr.
- Maximum 35 participants during open hours.
Wet Classroom
- Wet classroom rental must be combined with a rental of one of the pools.
Climbing Wall
- Prices reflect a 2 hour minimum and 3 hour maximum rental. Prices remain the same per rental.
- Rec Sports will provide all equipment, instruction, and staff necessary for the rental to be a success.
- Wall reservations must be scheduled outside of the regular climbing wall operating hours.
- Assistant Director of Outdoor Pursuits can adjust staffing requirements based on ages of participants, skill level, group size, and other factors that may affect the group rental.
Additional Rental Fees
Utility Fees
- Utility fees will apply to non-university groups during and outside of normal operating hours.
- Utility fees will not apply to student organizations and departments during normal operating hours.
- Rec Center utility rate: $65/hr.
Staffing Fees
- Facility staff: $15/hr ($22.50/hr outside of rserved times).
- Group Exercise Instructors: $25/hr ($37.50/hr outside of reserved times).
Custodial Fees
- $30/hr/custodian.
- Some events may require 2 (male and female) custodians and will depend on the nature and size of the event.
- Weekend events may be charged at time and a half.
Audio/Visual Fees
- Projector system: $10/hr (Rooms 205, 207, and combined only).
Table/Chairs
- Room 205 or 207: $20 set-up fee per event.
- Rooms 205 and 207 combined: $30 set-up fee per event.
- Portable tables/chairs: $1/chair and $4/table.
Administrative Fee
- $20/hr reserved.
