With funding from the National Science Foundation, the BioDiscovery Institute partners with the College of Education to help train local bilingual highschool teachers, in hopes that they will be able to engage Hispanic students and spark their interest in the sciences. The primary aim of the program is to develop science lesson plans in both English and Spanish. Find more information in the original press release.
