Tutoring

If you are an undergraduate student with excellent skills in another language, we would love to help you put those skills to good use tutoring your peers while earning a paycheck and getting great experience! The department has a tutoring lab where students enrolled in any language course may come for tutoring. Available openings will be posted on the job board Handshake. Undergraduate Teaching Assistants

We also employ talented junior and senior undergraduate students as paid teaching assistants for some of our courses. If you are interested, please check the job board Handshake for openings. It's easy to apply just fill out the short application and upload your resume. If you have any issues locating/applying for the position, please contact the Career Center at 940-565-2105.You can also contact the coordinator for the language you would like to help teach. You can find the name and contact information of each coordinator on the main webpage for your language language of interest, listed under Undergraduate tab. Because we have graduate programsin French, those positions are usually assigned to our graduate students, but there is occasionally a need for an undergraduate TA to help with a class or two.
