The University of North Texas and the Denton County Transportation Authority have partnered to provide the University community with local route and commuter bus service.

DCTA Connect

DCTA Connect is local fixed route bus service operating in the cities of Lewisville and Denton. The routes were configured to provide easy access to many important destinations within these cities. Connect operates Monday through Saturday, excluding major holidays. UNT students can ride this service “Fare Free” by showing a valid UNT ID. DCTA Commuter Express

Commuter Express provides an alternative commute for students traveling to/from Dallas, Carrollton and Lewisville. For the student’s convenience, the bus stops at two locations along Avenue C in the heart of the UNT campus. Students can access this commuter service by boarding the Commuter Express bus at one of 12 locations;

• Ten stops in Downtown Dallas
• DART North Carrollton Transit Center
• Lewisville Park & Ride
