Overview

The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth has earned a national reputation for well-managed, energetic innovation in scientific research in both the basic sciences and clinical studies.

The health science center's ability to attract the nation's top faculty researchers, postgraduate fellows and aspiring students, as well as financial support, derives in no small part from the research conducted by its Institutes for Discovery.

With a commitment to the UNT Health Science Center's focus on issues involving aging, these institutes and other centers of excellence conduct some of medicine's most vital research in geriatrics; heart disease and stroke; vision and eye disease; cancer; substance abuse; and pain management.

We invite you to participate in our journey for discovery of new knowledge, improved biomedical technology, and prevention and eradication of disease and disability.

For information on how you can support the health science center research efforts, contact the Office of Research and Biotechnology at (817) 735 5400.
