The Atrium Art Gallery
In keeping with its location in the heart of Fort Worth’s Cultural District, UNT Health Science Center houses the Atrium Art Gallery on the first floor of Medical Education Building One, at the corner of Montgomery Street and Camp Bowie Boulevard. Each month, local artists exhibit their work in the gallery, which is open to the public free of charge. The health science center is also host to the annual 12-County High School Art Competition, recognized as North Texas’ largest and most prestigious event for senior portfolios as well as a rewarding way to encourage young Texas talent. The show is scouted annually by 14 major universities, with many of these schools awarding scholarships to competition winners.
Local artists interested in exhibiting in the Atrium Gallery, contact Artist in Residence and Art Coordinator Judy Sager at (817) 735-2000.
