The U.S. Commercial Service Offices in South Carolina, located in Charleston, Columbia, and Greenville, offer internship opportunities throughout the year.
Interns assist our staff with the following:
- Conducting market research
- Assisting companies seeking export information
- Promoting trade events
- Assisting staff with administrative duties
Who Is Eligible?
In order to participate as an intern, you must meet the following qualifications:
- Enrolled in a college or university
- Be a U.S. Citizen
- Available for 5 to 6 months (Actual hours worked and schedule can be tailored to fit intern's school/work schedule.)
- Possess good communication and computer skills
**Students of Business, International Relations, Economics, and Languages will benefit most from an internship at the U.S. Commercial Service.
Note: This internship is a volunteer service. Federal regulations prohibit financial compensation. An official letter of recommendation will be provided upon successful completion of internship. University credit may also be available.
