The Statistical Abstract of the United States contains a collection of statistics on social and economic conditions in the United States as well as selected international data. See Sections 29 (Outlying Areas) and 30 (Comparative International Statistics).

Landview III is an electronic geographic reference tool like an atlas. It displays a detailed network of roads, rivers and railroads (based on TIGER/Line 95), jurisdictional and statistical boundaries, EPA-regulated sites, and key geographic features of the United States provided by the U.S. Geological Survey and other Federal agencies.

The Product Catalog provides information about all products sold by the Census Bureau and the U.S. Government Printing Office, including CD-ROMs, computer tapes, disks, publications, and maps.

The Boston Regional Office's area of coverage includes 6 New England States, Upper New York State, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Los Angeles Regional Office's coverage includes the State of Hawaii, the Southern half of California, as well as the U.S. Island Areas including Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa.

Since 1978 the State Data Center (SDC) Program has provided training and technical assistance in accessing and using Census data for research, administration, planning and decision making. The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands are included in the State Data Center Program.

There are approximately 1,400 Federal Depository Libraries throughout the United States and its territories that provide free public access to a wide variety of Federal government information in both print and electronic formats, and have expert staff available to assist users.
