State Health Insurance Assistance Program State Offices and Other Resources to Help Medicare Beneficiaries Find Answers to Prescription Drug Coverage Questions

As the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services sends out information on Medicare prescription drug coverage, Medicare beneficiaries may turn to safety net providers for answers to questions they may have. 

Please refer your Medicare patients to your State Health Insurance Assistance Program listed below and to the organizations found through the Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage Links.  These organizations are equipped to provide guidance and answers to questions regarding Medicare prescription drug coverage.  We encourage you to use this information to develop a list of resources with telephone numbers specific to your community to give to patients.
