Garage Sale Customer Parking (See map below) There are parking areas near the garage sale for customers to park and then walk to 1700 National Drive. Look for parking signs on the following nearby streets.
- Sports Drive - two lots
- Sierra Point Dr. - one lot in the Aramark employee parking area
Most items will be sold at a set price; vehicles and higher value items will be auctioned.
Everything is on a "first come, first serve" basis.
Items are "cash and carry" only - you must pick them up at the time of purchase. Vehicles must be picked up within five days.
Price of most items will be based on average sale prices from previous auctions; higher priced items will be appraised.
The only methods accepted for payment for all garage sale items are cash, cashier's check, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Discover.
We do not accept cash for vehicles.
Computers will be sold with a "blank slate" containing no operating system.
It is the buyer's obligation to smog the vehicle.
- The state is exempt from DMV's smogging requirement when selling vehicles. It remains the buyer's responsibility to smog the vehicle.
- All smog related repairs and certifications are the sole responsibility of the buyer (refer to California Vehicle Code Division 12, Section 24007.5)
Vehicles will be sold in running condition. All vehicles will be started to show working order.
Vehicles will also be sold with fixed pricing, apart from the auction.
How to participate in the vehicle auction: A private sector auctioneer conducts the auction on behalf of the state and will set the starting bid at fair market value. Anyone may attend the auction and may bid for any item in the auction. You will need a valid driver's license to purchase a vehicle at auction. An auction registration form will be required to participate, please download the form here and bring it with you to the auction:
