Commercial Service Dublin staff joined colleagues from Irish government and business for a "Doing Business in the USA" trade event on 24 July 2009. 

Senior Commercial Officer Stephen Anderson and two interns, Jesus Lopez and Danielle Nowell, supported the July 24 breakfast event attended by 60 business representatives.   Focusing on potential partners and the autonomy that localities have in the United States, SCO Anderson offered a powerpoint presentation attached below.  CS Dublin interns Jay Lopez and Danielle Nowell prepared a new banner and handout materials on "Invest in America" as well as answering questions about contacts with US Export Assistance Centers and potential American partners.

Traveling to the Irish Midlands in Tullamore, County Offaly, CS Dublin teamed with the Atlantic Corridor, an organization supported by Ireland's Department of Foreign Affairs North America Division and Enterprise Ireland.  Enterprise Ireland’s New York City Director, Sean Davis, also spoke about the extensive services offered to Irish business purchasing American exports and investing in America.  

CS Dublin plans to do similar trade events in the future to support Irish businesses seeking American SME partners and contacts from the CS Invest in America office.
