As part of its initiative to support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), CS Prague prominently featured the Czech NGO Chráněná dílna sv. Prokop u červeného javoru and a project of Mental Power Prague Film Festival presented by Mr. Patrik Henel & Mr. David Sychra.

Ambassador Graber and CS Prague visited Carrier Refrigeration CR (www.carrier-ref.cz) Beroun plant which focuses on commercial refrigeration equipment and a GZ Digital Media (www.gzdm.cz), an independent firm with U.S. private equity investment that serves as a one-stop shop for CD, DVD, printing and vinyl record production, in Loděnice. Beroun Mayor accompanied the group during both facility tours, which combined have nearly 2,000 employees.

June 24, 2008 / AFSI new facility ground-breaking ceremony in Most
Commercial Counselor Greg O’Connor and CS Hana Obrusníková took part in of an Advanced Filtration Systems Inc. (AFSI, www.advfilters.com) new facility ground-breaking ceremony in industrial zone located in Most. Established in 1986, AFSI is a joint venture owned by Caterpillar and Donaldson Company. AFSI supplies oil, fuel and hydraulic filters for Caterpillar. The first trial production is expected to begin in the AFSI plant in Most at the start of 2009. Once the facility reaches full capacity, it will employ 200 people.

On April 28, CS Prague welcomed a trade delegation that was lead by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) and included six of its largest convention partners; the Consumer Electronics Association, the National Association of Broadcasters, Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the Hanley Wood Corporation, the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association and the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions.
