As part of its long-term strategy to reach greater numbers of U.S. and Czech companies, CS Prague continues to work with partner FedEx to organize industry-focused events. On May 17, CS Prague and FedEx hosted a seminar for leading automotive businesses in the Czech Republic. The seminar addressed two important topics, intellectual property right protection in global markets and current challenges of automotive industry in the region of the Central Europe. SKODA AUTO / Volkswagen, the largest local car manufacturer, and motorcycle producer BLATA Company were the keynote speakers apart from US CS presentation delivered by SCO Greg O’Connor and CS Zdeněk Svoboda.

During the event, Ambassador Graber presented "Certificates of Appreciation for Achievement in Trade" to Alfmeier Ltd. and Tesla Blatna, two Czech-located companies that were recognized for excellent results in trade between the US and Czech Republic, which resulted in US exports worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.
