The U.S. Export-Import Bank

The Export-Import Bank is an independent U.S. Government agency whose mission is to assist in financing the export of U.S. goods and services to international markets. Most export finance programs exist to cover the political and commercial risk of exporting, and Ex-Im Bank will often assume these risks which the private sector is unwilling or unable to accept.

The Export-Import Bank's representative at the International Trade Resource Center serves as an intermediary for the U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) Export Working Capital Program.
