Commercial River Outfitter's License (33-32-101 through 112, C.R.S.):
Annual renewable license: $400 if apply on or before Jan 31 $500 if apply on or after Feb 1 Limited Use License: $100
Minimum liability insurance of $300,000 combined single limit required. Must comply with safety standards determined by the Board.
Guide requirements: Must be 18 yrs. of age or older. Experience of 50 hrs. on the river 30 hrs. with qualified guide. 20 hrs. same trip (group of rafts), at least one trip on actual water trip. Completion of CPR or First Aid course.
Trip Leader requirements: 1. Must be 18 yrs. of age or older.

2. Logged a total of 500 river hours as a qualified guide.

3. Valid standard first aid card.
NOTE:  Certain river sections, such as the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area, require compliance with a special Rationing Plan for commercial boaters.
