Under Colorado law, the only Casino Games which may be played in Colorado are poker, blackjack (21), and slot machines, and approved variations of these. There is a maximum wager limit of five dollars per bet.
Applications for approval of new table game variations may be submitted to the Division. The application fee is $2,000 and is non-refundable.

The Division issues the following types of licenses. ALL licenses require a background check and application fee, contact the division for details. (12-47-101, et.seq., C.R.S.) |
OPERATOR license for owner of slot machines. |
RETAILER license for operator of limited gaming establishment. |
SUPPORT STAFF license for dealers, counter help, shills (someone hired to play on behalf of the establishment) cashiers and staff having contact with the gaming aspects of the business. |
KEY EMPLOYEES license for employees having supervisory responsibilities |
MANUFACTURER/DISTRIBUTOR license for businesses involved in the manufacture of gaming devices and paraphernalia. |
DISTRIBUTOR license for businesses involved in the sale and distribution of gaming devices and paraphernalia.
