History

The US Coast Guard has enjoyed a rich history since its founding in 1790. Heroes such as the Pea Island crew continue to serve as inspiration to the civilian and uniformed members of the Coast Guard, as well as those considering a career in our service. Recreational Boating Safety Grant Program
