Exploring Bioethics out this summer

NIH and EDC External Web Site Policy are putting the finishing touches on a curriculum supplement for high school. Exploring Bioethics presents a new model for ethical inquiry in the biology classroom. We're not taking orders yet. Send us an e-mail to be notified of the release.

Bioethics featured in NSTA Webinars

NIH partnered with the National Science Teachers Association to conduct two one-hour Webinars on bioethics in March and April. Both Webinars are now archived on the NSTA Learning Center Website External Web Site Policy. These online seminars highlight different aspects of the forthcoming Exploring Bioethics lessons.

Field-test teachers needed early 2010

NIH and BSCS External Web Site Policy are seeking middle school and high school science teachers to field test new curriculum supplements in early 2010. The high school lessons focus on evolution in medicine. The middle school module is on inquiry and the study of rare diseases. More details are on the BSCS Website External Web Site Policy.
