Ngozi Nkwoh

Ms. Ngozi Nkwoh is a Commercial Specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service - Lagos, Nigeria. She promotes U.S commercial interest through various trade promotional counseling and activities, preparing market research and analyses, business facilitation and matchmaking, advocacy and trade support for U.S. and Nigerian business representatives through organizing/facilitating local and international trade events. Ms. Nkwoh monitors economic developments in Nigeria’s extractive industries including the oil and gas, mining and solid minerals, environment and the maritime sector. With responsibility for Nigeria’s southeast zone spanning the strategically important Niger Delta areas of Warri, Port Harcourt, Bayelsa, Akwa-Ibom and Cross River States.

Ms. Nkwoh has helped many Nigerian and U.S. firms establish long-term, mutually beneficial business relationships since joining the Commercial Service. She has participated in several international buyer programs that have resulted in millions of dollars in export of U.S. products to Nigeria. Ms. Nkwoh plays key roles in designing and implementing market access strategies for U.S. firms interested in securing businesses in Nigeria.

Prior to joining the U.S. Foreign Commercial Service, Ms. Nkwoh worked for Nigeria’s premier television house as a copy writer and a broadcast equipment installation company as an administrative cum human resources officer. She also headed the energy desk of the company. A Bachelor of Arts Honors graduate in English Language from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Ms. Nkwoh also holds a Masters degree in Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) from the University of Lagos and is a member of the Nigerian Industrial Relations Association.
