PAC Frequently Asked QuestionsPAC Status UpdateThis course will be available for DOE Headquarters Federal employees and the majority of contractors. This course will be assigned to users’ learning plans in groups from August 3, 2009 to August 14, 2009. IMPORTANT FOR CONTRACTORS ONLY:Contractors that do not receive an email by August 17, 2009 from OLC2 are contractors who do not have an OLC2 account. Separate guidance will be posted for you on this site at that time. - Information Systems Security Awareness (ISSA) Course:
ISSA Status Update The ISSA course will take place in early August. You will receive a system-generated email when the course is assigned to your learning plan. This is a limited audience and not everyone at DOE will be required to take this training. - Continuity Of Operations (COOP)Course:
COOP Status UpdateDOE Order 150.1 and Federal Continuity Directive 1 require annual Continuity of Operations (COOP) Awareness training for all DOE/NNSA contractor employees. If users have already completed the compact disk version they are not required to complete the version on OLC2. The DOE OLC2 is the web-based learning management system (LMS) that provides DOE Federal employees a convenient avenue to access career-enhancing courses while at the office, at home or on the go. All DOE Federal employees (excluding contractors) have a complimentary subscription to the entire enterprise library of courses through December 31st, 2008.With over 5,059 courses in the OLC2, you can fulfill your training needs with ease and save money on travel and training costs. From programming to office safety, the OLC2 allows you to complete a course much faster than a traditional course because you work at your own pace.With the OLC2, you can take a few courses at your leisure or schedule several courses at a time. Whether at your desk, the comfort of your home or Internet cafe, you can access your online training 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
