The closing date for submission of comprehensive applications for Round 2 of this solicitation will be February 27, 2003. Only applicants who have submitted Round 2 preapplications may submit a comprehensive application. AMENDMENT 005 - (01/07/03)
The purpose of this amendment is to extend the application due date for Evaluation Period 3. Specifically,

  1. Article 2.6, Time, Date and Place Applications are Due - IIPS, the date due for Evaluation Period 3 is changed to "10 February 2003" from 21 January 2003.
  2. Article 2.8, Anticipated Selection Dates - Multiple Due Dates, the anticipated selection date for Evaluation Period 3 is changed to "31 March 2003" from 28 February 2003.

Except as stated herein, the revisions made by Amendments 001, 002, 003, 004 and all other articles remain unchanged.

AMENDMENT 004 - (12/12/02)
This amendment extends the due date of Round 3 proposals from 09 Jan. 2003 to 21 Jan. 2003.
AMENDMENT 003 - (08/28/02)
The purpose of this amendment is twofold. First, the DOE share is being increased to $100,000, and second, the requirement for Volume I and III is deleted. Please review complete Amendment on IIPS.
AMENDMENT 002 - (04/11/02)
Amendment No A002 is being issued to include the submission of pre-application packages. A pre-application format is available for your use on IIPS. The pre-application is intended to reduce the cost and effort for applicants to submit, and for the National Energy Technology Laboratory to review, comprehensive proposals.
AMENDMENT 001 - (03/25/02)
Article 3.6, Volume II --Technical Application Preparation Instructions - IIPS (Nov 2001), File Description section, File 2, Technical Documentation portion, first paragraph, is modified to
read as follows:
This file shall include a cover page indicating the solicitation number, name and address of the Applicant, point of contact, telephone/FAX number/E-Mail address, title of project, and date of application.  The technical documentation shall not exceed 10 (ten) pages .  It shall be double-spaced, using 10 or 12-point font, 1" margins, and when printed, will fit on size 8 1/2" by 11" paper.  Pages in excess of the page limitations will be removed.

  • AMENDMENT 002 - (3/5/02)
    The purpose of this amendment is to amend the application process by inserting one additional file, which is required to be submitted with the application. Specifically, this amendment increases the number of Volume I files from five to six. The information contained in the additional deleted files from Amendment 01 will be required after selection only from those applicants that are selected for award (see article 4.10).

  • AMENDMENT 001 - (3/5/02)
    The purpose of this amendment is to change the solicitation by deleting the number of files which are required to be submitted with the application. It also clarifies/amends the page limitation in the technical volume. As changed, the technical discussion and the Statement of Project Objectives together cannot exceed 20 double spaced pages.

    The other file attachments provide information which was presented at the Native American workshop held on January 29, 2002 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This information includes a list of conference attendees, questions and answers from the workshop, and the PowerPoint presentations related to the solicitation and DOE's IIPS system. The solicitation contains multiple closing dates for submission of applications: January 3, 2001, January 23, 2002, and January 3, 2003 (This date cancelled).
