Serves as the focal point for personnel (both military and civilian), budgetary, financial, facility, contracts, security, information technology, internal management controls, general administration management and overall management of DTSA's resources. Provides the necessary professional, technical, and administrative guidance and assistance to maintain a quality workforce and achieve all critical mission objectives.
- Manages the Internal Management Control Program for DTSA
- Plans, programs, budgets and executes the financial requirements for DTSA
- Manages and provides oversight for DTSA's acquisition requirements
- Manages DTSA's financial activities in coordination with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) service agreement
- Manages support contracts
- Manages DTSA's personnel, evaluation, recognition, and support programs (military and civilian) in coordination with Washington Headquarters Service (WHS) support agreement
- Manages DTSA's physical and personnel security programs
- Executes facility management
- Manages equipment accountability activity
- Manages requisition of equipment and supplies
- Manages DTSA's administrative instructions
- Manages Information Technology (IT) resources, and network support agreements with Policy Automation Services (PAS) and Office of the Secretary of Defense Information Services Directorate (OSD ISD)
- Manages the Defense Patent Application Review Program
