Afghanistan-Iraq
|
"I believe the war in Iraq has been one of the greatest geopolitical blunders in the history of the United States. It will take decades or more to recover from the damage from this tragic misadventure to our military and to our standing in the world community.
I have voted against it at every opportunity, while I have fought to make sure that our men and women fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan have all the equipment they need to carry out their mission effectively and safely. I am convinced that the clearest expression of support for our troops is to bring them home."
Neil Abercrombie
