NMMSS USERS ANNUAL TRAINING MEETING
The 2009 Nuclear Materials Management and Safeguards
System (NMMSS) Users Annual Training Meeting
will be held in Denver, Colorado, May 19-21.
The NMMSS serves a critical role in the U.S.
Government's ability to maintain operational
awareness of the inventory, status, and whereabouts
of nuclear materials.
The 2009 meeting is organized and hosted jointly
by the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Nuclear
Regulatory Commission (NRC). The training meeting's
general sessions will focus on:
 Up
to date information on NMMSS developments and
enhancements
Regulatory drivers, reporting requirements,
and potential impacts on NRC licensees and DOE
contractors
System training and orientation
Exchange of ideas and solutions to streamline
and improve system performance
