Family Medicine Interest Group
The Family Medicine Interest Group (FMIG) at USU is dedicated to providing students with the opportunity to experience the full spectrum of Family Medicine. The FMIG is integrally involved in activities serving the university, uniformed service members, their dependents and the local community. Our Mission Statement is "To promote the education, career development and community service opportunities for uniformed medical students interested in family medicine".
One of the largest student-run activities at USU, the FMIG was honored by the American Academy of Family Physicians as a 2001 Program of Excellence.
