The U.S. Department of Commerce/U.S. Commercial Service’s global network has offices in over 100 cities in the U.S. and 85 countries around the world. It is dedicated to helping U.S. companies promote their products and services overseas and assisting them compete more effectively in the global marketplace.

  The U.S. Commercial Service shall place primary emphasis on the promotion of exports of goods and services from the United States, particularly by small- and medium-sized businesses, and on the protection of United State business interests abroad.

  The U.S. Commercial Service, the best source of customized solutions for U.S. business to compete and win in the global marketplace.

The Commercial Service is staffed by American Foreign Commercial Service Officers and foreign service national trade specialists who work with the U.S.-based Export Assistance Centers (EACs) to help exporters gain market knowledge and locate potential Malaysian partners.
