The HIV/AIDS Surveillance Technical Report
is published by the Surveillance Branch of the Division of HIV/AIDS
Prevention, National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention, Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention (CDC). This report describes demographic characteristics
of persons diagnosed with HIV infections who were residents of states that
conduct HIV infection case surveillance using coded patient identifiers during
2000. All data in this report are provisional.
