The U.S. Commercial Service Santo Domingo recruited a delegation of 16 Caribbean business people to attend the International Franchise Expo, one of the most important franchising trade show held in Washington, DC on April 20-22, 2009.
As a result of a comprehensive promotion throughout the Caribbean, CS Santo Domingo recruited delegates from the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, St. Lucia and Trinidad & Tobago.
Delegation planning and coordination of the event were handled by Regional Senior Commercial Specialist Maria Elena Portorreal de Alonso, who also served as the group's escort to the attendees with event promotion, recruitment and travel arrangements.
