AFSC scientist Sarah Gaichas talks with Roosevelt High School students.

Scientists at the AFSC welcome invitations to speak at classrooms and other school related venues. Topics range from general marine science to specific research related talks, such as marine mammal behavior, marine ecology, or population dynamics of the Alaskan groundfish fisheries.

AFSC scientists strive to give presentations that inspire and inform your students. Instructors are asked to work with AFSC scientists to determine the best presentation style for your classroom. Resources available to our scientists are PowerPoint presentations, hands-on materials and informative display boards.
